Civil War for the Roses

Usually when a football game is hyped up like crazy for 10 days, it sucks and never lives up to it. But this years Civil War was a fantastic game, the winner earning a trip to the Rose Bowl. The Ducks won 37-33.

This game is always my favorite to shoot each year. It’s always a blast. You can see more images on my SportsShooter page. Here are some clips from various outlets that used my photos throughout the night. I’ll update more when I see where they run in print.

I had the front of ESPN.com a few different times.

USA Today used a photo of LaGarrette Blount in the “Day in Sports Pictures” gallery

I also had the front of Yahoo Sports

A couple more ESPN clips

and finally, one from CBS Sports.

I can’t wait until next years game.

UPDATE: Here is a couple more EPSN and USA Today:

Nice shots Craig, I know I had about 17 heart stoppages during the game and was hoping you didn’t get crushed in the after game rush. So proud of you and always love it when your shots go national.

    It’s Rose Bowl time baby!!!!!!

I have to confess, in the photo of the duck crowd surfing, at first glance I thought some crazy excited photographer had thrown his camera in the air! (I saw the less cropped version on sportsshooter)
