Sometimes you just randomly see a cool spot
Sometimes you have a plan, in this case, shoot engagements at Mt. Tabor Park, but sometimes, you see a much cooler spot on the way to the planned spot. As we were driving up the hill to the parking lot of the park, I saw this awesome field. Flowers, trees, steep hill, etc and thought, that would make a cool photo. So after we shot at the planned location, we went back and then the rain started making the light perfect and I had them walk up and down the hill while I stood on the top of my truck for a better angle. I like it.

Sweet pic! I can totally relate with the whole random spot thing… Joe is constantly getting annoyed with me for making him pullover because I see something I want to take a pic of on the side of the road. Question- how do you get the yellow flowers so bright in this pic? I just took a photography class for fun (my first one!), and learned about polarizers and lens filters and I was wondering if you used anything here. Keep up the good work, and congrats on your new office in Mission Viejo, it’s beautiful down there!

That happens to me all the time! I scout out some cool location, and the best shot comes from a random, spontaneous place I didn’t even think of. Beautiful photo!

Is this near Mount Tabor park in Portland? I recently got engaged, and my dream is to get married in a flowery meadow. one like this would be beautiful!! Do you know if it would be possible to reserve a place like that for a wedding?
thanks
